Codices is a brief and skewed look at permanence, solidity, life span and monumentality. Stock footage of astronomical events in and around Chichén Itzá: specifically the Pyramid of Kukulcán, and El Caracol (Observatory) in Yucatán, Mexico (400 A.D. - 1400 A.D) are coupled with sampled stock sound effects to rehearse/audition and cheaply model the end of the world.
